ETSA Utilities recently completed the electrical connection to the new Prominent Hill Mine in Mid North South Australia. The project consisted of a connection into the Olympic Dam West Substation, 185km of 132kV transmission line, a 132/11/33kV 45MVA substation at Prominent Hill, and 120km of 33kV line to the site bore-field.
This presentation will cover the project detail, including some of the challenges faced working on this unique project.
