ETSA Utilities Network Operations Centre (NOC) is the centre of control of ETSA Utilities’ electricity distribution system. The NOC commenced operation in May 2000 when the previously integrated ETSA was disaggregated into the separate business units which exist today. Operating 24 hours a day and serving approximately 793,000 customers, the NOC controls a network comprising 382 zone substations and about 85,500 kilometres of powerlines. ETSA Utilities is the fifth largest distributor in the Australian National Electricity Market.
