The IET SA&NT

The IET SA & NT Local Network Committee recognises the importance of keeping members and non-members alike, informed with the latest news and events in our Local Network.

To date, our Local Network newsletters and event programs have been distributed to members only, by both paper copy and by email. However, it is an unnecessary waste to post paper copies if members are happy to receive an electronic only copy. Additionally, to date the functionality for members and non-members alike to subscribe to email updates of new content on this website has not existed.

As of today you can now subscribe to our new email subscription list on the right hand side of this site. Instructions for doing so, including how to unsubscribe and manage your preference to receive paper copies of newsletters and event programs, is also provided on the right hand side of this site.

Our Local Network has extended it’s web presence to the frequently used website “Facebook” used by many of our younger members.

If you already use Facebook, join the group today, use it to help update you with our Local Network’s latest happenings. Invite your fellow students or colleagues on Facebook to join the group, use it for professional networking and help us promote the IET in South Australia & Northern Territory.

Dear all,

I would like to advise to all that there has been unexpected temporary downtime for a few hours over the last few days, however Steve Dalton who volunteers the web-space for our Local Network website has promptly restored the server back to normal.

Please check back within the next week as the Joint Technical Program’s of the 2008 Electrical & Electronic, and 2008 Mechanical & Manufacturing are soon to be released for you to add to your 2008 calendar.
